Dr Sarah Barns new Director Historypin Australia

Posted on: 8 May 2012

Historypin is a participant-built digital map that gives people around the world an opportunity to represent their photographic history in relation to landmarks. This online ‘citizen history’ develops a massive network of collections and stories.

Sarah Barns, the Australian director of Historypin is planning a big Australian presence on this site through the Australian Memory Project 2013. Follow the blog at blog.historypin.com/2012/04/19/what-might-a-new-map-of-australian-history-look-like/<http://mgnsw.us2.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=5f6901c10774f42920bbca91d&id=27c63175b2&e=620bb9ee6d>

Sarah’s previous work has included the production of the ABC’s Sydney Sidetracks in 2008 and co-production of the wonderful Unguarded Moments for the City of Sydney’s Art & About Festival in 2011.
