Wonderful opening at the State Library Of Queensland last week. Tindale photos transformed by artist Vernon Ah Kee, Curator Michael Aird and family members of those in the photos who spoke of their ancestors’ experiences and, in Chad Morgan’s case, told the story of his Mum and Dad in song. A recurring theme at the opening was that Tindale might be in the title but the exhibition is not about Tindale but instead the people whose portraits and stories are shared in this space.
